Venice Art Crawl

On October 20th, 2011, the Venice Art Crawl was forever changed. I was asked a month before to be a part of a show with three other artists. The challenge I set for myself; how to make art not as boring to look at. The idea finally came to my mind, I would shoot a time lapse of Venice, California and have it play at the art show with a looped feature. Since I love my ipad, I thought why not mount it behind glass; make it interactive art. The venue also has frosted glass window’s outside facing the street, so we did a reverse projection of the time-lapse from the inside of the glass. After the art show I decided that this time-lapse is too good to just be seen by a few. So, here it is, in all its glory, on the internet. Enjoy!

Here is a collection of RAW stills from a shoot that we did about a year and a half ago entitled “Wheel of Death”. It was so hard editing these files because there were so many great moments. Here is the video for you all to enjoy! More to come…
